The IBP Alberta Teaching Team
We are the new Directors of IBP Alberta; Rebecca Miller Quigley and Kelly Fredell. We are very excited to be continuing the history of IBP in Alberta starting with Carol Hechtenthal, Jan Inglis, Sally Devereux, Pat Quigley, and Shannon Zaychuck to the current Director Wendy McCrae.
We bring an enthusiasm for both IBP as well as working together as your training team. We are both psychologists and mothers and have enjoyed the practice of IBP both personally and professionally. We have enjoyed working as Teaching Assistants with great mentors and students and love seeing the changes and evolution of participants in the training process; ourselves included.
In addition to IBP we bring training, interest and experience in a variety of other theoretical approaches and practices including; family constellation, attachment theory, mindfulness based approaches, emotion focused couples therapy, EMDR and trauma informed practices, and natural processing, among others.
Our intention is to train you in Integrative Body Psychotherapy with knowledge, information and lectures as well as memorable experiences, both somatic and soulful. This training will not only change how you practice, but it invites you to deepen and expand how you live your life. We are honoured to offer this process of learning and growing and look forward to sharing this with you.
Rebecca Miller Quigley
Registered Psychologist in Private Practice
It is my training in IBP that has most transformed who I am as a therapist and as an individual. IBP has given me many tools for self-care and self-regulation, changed how I show up in relationships, and altered my experience of the world in ways that are enriching and reassuring. IBP has taught me how to be more present and more in my body. It has taught me how to be more alive.

I love my work. The opportunity to learn about and work with others in their process of discovering themselves, developing deeper awareness, and healing their lives, is a privilege I am grateful to experience and share.
